Loving the McDonagh-Stralman pairing. It will be a beast.

Unfortunately, I feel like he's going to start it mostly in the offensive zone with Staal-Girardi getting the defensive zone draws. McDonagh and Stralman are our two best defensemen in terms of transition play, so it'll kind of waste them.

With Richards back at center, our weakness at left wing is exposed. Pouliot shouldn't even be in the top 6 let alone the top line. Even when Hags gets back, Pouliot and Pyatt could still get more ice time than necessary as our left wingers in the middle lines.

So far as Kreider goes, the organization can't let the lack of depth and injuries get in the way of his development in Hartford. AV said he wants Kreider to play in all situations, including PK - he shouldn't be called up until he is ready to do that.

Ugly.

Even though it has the highest concentration of good players, I'm most worried about the first line. Callahan and Richards have never meshed well.

Stepan-Fast could work well together and Pyatt has started the season well.

Zucc should be able to drive the play for his line, but if they couldn't score with Pouliot to the left how will the perform with Boyle?

No faith in the fourth, they've been awful so far. Hopefully they pick it up.

After a game like the one vs the Sharks I sort of like this big shake-up. I'm not sure what to expect!

I like the 4th line though.. the rest each have a obvious weak link in them.. hope they prove everyone wrong.
