I know NYR has great rivalries with more history than the Pens, but damned if beating the Crosby-Malkin era penguins isn't about my favorite thing in the world.

That game where we kept getting jobbed with penalties on penguin flops, then Marc Staal scored shorthanded to tie the game is one of my all time favorites.

That was one of the best Ranger games, ever. Wow. I remember how pissed the Pitt fans were, including that dude who was banging the glass as Torts left the bench LMAO

Staal was no offensive juggernaut but he pitched in some huge goals along the way. This is how Miller will learn to follow the play up once he's comfortable leaving the D zone. He has the old forward skills to lean on it.

I miss Dubinsky

Dubi did all the things on both of those goals.

Also when ever I see a version of Staal that can actually move, I feel really old.

Oh man, before the horrible eye injury Staal was out of this world elite. I’ll always remember him as that even though his latter years here were abysmal. He was so f***ing good. I feel bad for the fans who never got to see the real Marc Staal.

and then there's that time v Pit Kreider got called for interference when he had the puck

So who's the scapegoat tonight?

JJ? Quinn? KK? Ice time?

TELL ME!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT!

I NEED TO KNOW!!!! PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

People are gonna be all over starting Johnson instead of Smith if he has an iffy game next to Deangelo

Ugh, Crosby was definitely a dirty, diving player. He’s a great player but call it both ways he did a ton of sneaky shit. Even Hank got pissed at him for his bullshit.

Well Hank dove too haha.

The thing that pisses me off more is that after missing the playoffs for seven seasons, we for all rights should have been the team to get Crosby. Pitt had only been bad for a very short time.

They also intentionally tanked mid season for both Mario and Malkin
