3rd string goalie? We never had a chance, lose 1-0

Sekera should've ****ing played, that's really the only gripe I have. Its a no brainer, at least that's what I thought. He's superior to both the McB and McN. Kopitar is frustrating to watch in the offensive zone right now. Quick made some outstanding saves, but Hammond outplayed him and was perfect. Matt Greene is a disaster out there...

Witnessed why you guys are the defending Stanley Cup Champs. Scary as hell your team is. I see a repeat, no doubt. As a hockey fan, I thank you for an amazing game. Most exciting game for me for the last couple seasons. Cheers!

I hope Hammond continues to kick ass!

Think he's referring to Greene, Stoll, Williams, Kopitar? Those guys in particular were pretty bad tonight with their bad passes and indecisiveness with the puck.

"I had some moments tonight, but I couldn't capitalize.... I Had our fair share of looks, just couldn't get one in" - King

Fixed it .

Maybe if you weren't looking the wrong way when those pucks were at your feet we may have tied it, like oh I don't know , the pp's .

Weird year for Kopitar. He's now had an 11 game stretch where he scored 2 goals, a 14 game stretch where he scored 1 goal, and what is currently a 15 game stretch with 1 goal. Twice this season he's scored 3 goals in 4 games. Also went through the conference and Cup final last year without a goal(still maybe the most amazing thing the Kings managed to do last year). I know he's not a goal scorer per se, but he hasn't scored less than 25 goals in a full season since his rookie year.

12-13 season, 10 goals in 47 games, .213 goals per game
14-15 season, 12 goals in 57 game so far, .211 goals per game

The Kings were 10th in goals per game in 12-13. They're 18th this year, which is higher than either year they won the Cup. Gaborik is here for a full season this year. It's almost like when there are other options, or other guys are scoring goals, Kopitar just sort of doesn't. 09-10 was the odd year. Kopitar had a career high in goals and points that year, and the Kings were 9th overall in goals per game.

Obviously many offensive numbers are down this year. Potentially because there are fewer PP's this year. When Kopitar scored 34 goals, 14 were on the PP. Scored 32 goals, 12 on the PP. Last year, 29 goals, 10 on the PP. He's got 6 on the PP this year.

Which means he's got 6 ES goals this year. Rookie year, 11. Lockout year, 10. One other year 15. Every other year, 18 or 19.

Weird year, weird year.

Killing it with the gifs tonight guys.

Have me laughing it up. Bravo folks, Bravo !

Kings played like poop they did. Lose you will, yes, no force will save you.

Hammond is really a calm guy He reminded me of Bernier in some ways no wasted motion, just seems to make the right play and be in position to make the next save

Stoll/Greene.

I need the make it stop gif for these two guys.

Make it stop please, please Lombardi.

Typical fan logic.

I realize the guy probably flys first class and is used to traveling, but still taking a cross country flight, then trying to get situated to your new surroundings makes for an incredibly draining day. Add to that the fact that he hasn't had any real practice with the team, and I don't see how throwing him into the game would make any sense at all. Giving him a day or two to acclimate is just common sense.

Cool looking schedule, did you make it yourself or is it generated somewhere?

Make it myself. Based off of a similar chart the LAKings posted during the 2013 shortened season and postseason. I liked it so much that I wanted to keep it going.

I believe he said once that it was posted by the Kings, but during a different season or something... He has "just" edited/maintained it. But as far as I know he does do it by hand... (well on a computer by hand)

Thanks, maybe one day I will get ambitious and totally steal the idea, one day....
