Honestly feel like Miller has had a disappointing season. He has shown no growth after having a brutal playoffs last season. Doesn't appear he will be a game breaker.

Miller, Nash and Buchnevic have all been disappointments. Kreider is a 25 goal scorer, he is what he is. Not impressed by the talent on the team. Zuccarello has been good, but inconsistent. Hayes is far too inconsistent. This team needs a 75-point player who consistently puts points on the board.

We were very fortunate to draw the Habs in the first round last year. They were the only playoff team less skilled than us.

When watching the NHL Network for the Junior Tournament they have shown a show about that first Winter Classic at least 6 times

Lehner has been playing very well this season, it's not just this game. It's that most teams simply overwhelm the Sabres, something this team is completely uncapable of.

Which goalie hasn't "been brilliant today" when facing the Rangers for the last month or so?

Agreed...Lehner's stats are phenomenal if you look closely at them. One a team like the Tampa, Lehner's stats would be as good if not better than Vasilevsky's. He's been really good this year but today he's upped the ante....he's been great.

And yes, I do notice quite a few goalies play great against us but I bet if you ask any fan base, they say the same shit that "so and so looks like Hasek vs us as per the norm"....lol

Agreed, but only 10 players had 75+ pts last season, and 11 the season before. It will likely be a few more this season, but getting a 75+ point player these days is pretty hard

We will make the playoffs as a WC team and got blown out by the Lightning in the first round. Girardi will have the last laugh just like Brassard, Hagelin, Callahan and friends and Gaborik years prior.
