Unless the game gets out of control, and it shouldn't in a tight game, I don't mind the refs not calling a lot, especially if there's a tendency to 'even up' calls. Consider our PP and the Caps', and tell me if you would rather see one penalty each way, or ten. To that extent, I can agree with the Caps' fans who think the refs helped us more than them.

Wahlstrom and Bellows had some trouble getting out of our end a few times, but hopefully that will come with experience.

Uncle Leo is starting to look better on the top line. Being in the lineup every day, and with regular linemates, certainly helps. Ditto with his faceoffs - he's taking more, and not as second man in, where you have to be extra careful to not get tossed, so he's doing well.

Pulock was flying, and deserved a goal, as did several others.

Both goalies were superb. Best saves were when Mayfield bobbled the puck, and when Komarov set up Barzal.

Ah, I didn't check and assumed it was just the first tiebreaker. Thanks!
I thought we were down to the 7th tiebreaker.

In the East it may come to that. The top teams are incredibly close.
