I think some things would be better, others worse. But I think with coaching, and a lot of jobs in professional sports in general, it is often easier to critique a person than it is to do a better job than the person whom you're critiquing.

The team lacks the fiber ~all coaches demand. The biggest problem wouldn't be any different. Maybe they're better defensively playing a 1-1-3 or something but in the end who cares.

they're soft. a different coach doesn't change that. maybe you can scheme around it better than Quinn does (he doesn't seem to at all) but in the end generally speaking they'd rather leave something in the tank for the next shift than empty it on this one. for better and for worse.

Agreed. Like I’ve said many times some still can’t past their own personal expectations they wanted. Kreider was never suppose to be a 35-40 goal scorer. He had been a top 6 forward his whole career who will score 25-30, use his speed to open up space, have very good presence in front of the net, and was a very good playoff player. For a 19th overall pick I’ve been pretty happy
