There are only a handful defensemen in the league this year with more PP goals than Ghost so far. So I'd say he's doing his job.

Him and Giroux just don't have much to work with.

Obviously other teams have the book on the Flyers pp, it's not ghosts fault if they are coached to use the same setup time after time.

How I wish we could trade 5% of that league best faceoff pct for 5% on the pp...

2014-2015 was streits last year of being on the pp. The years before Kimmo was on it. Since Ghost has been on it, this pp has steadily gotten worst in rankings.

Now go find out what JUST TEAMS TOP UNIT'S PP's have been and compare them.

Or do you not think a #2PP unit that scores 2-5 goals a year hurts the PP?

In the last 5 years they were 3rd in 2014-15, the middle of the pack for three years in a row, and are now dead last.

How is that in indictment on Ghost?

The reason for the decline is because they haven't changed the general system of the PP since Lavy implemented it back 2012. Giroux and Voracek on the side boards, QB at the top, Simmonds/Hartnell in front, another body (Schenn, Couts) high in the slot. The league caught on a few years ago, and no changes have been made. It's insanity.

Nothing personal, but I think a reason for their struggles is because nobody outside of Ghost and G can do shit to create a play once they are in the zone as a PP.

Teams just swarm those guys. Not sure how much more G can handle the puck.

There’s no way you’re honestly even suggesting Ghost is even slightly responsible for that.
