People take a page out of Marrone's quote book:

Don't confuse effort for results.

Some of the responses I get from people are just delusional. I can see that people are still drinking the kool aid.

This is the first game I have watched in a while; a couple observations:

This team is no different under Nolan. Still don't play a full game and passing is not NHL caliber.

What the heck is Nolan doing with Foligno?!?! Can you please play him more and stop with the Scott as a regular player BS.

Ott is totally worthless.

Miller is still playing on his knees.

Stafford still can't find the back of the net.

So the things I noticed, as things change, they still stay the same.

Can't wait till Nolan and a bunch of these crap players are gone.

Also, where the heck is the GM?!? Do we really plan on just losing these UFA for nothing at the end of the season?!?

That was a poor period, but still better than a Rolston coached team.
Ott is worth a low 1st..I hope the Sabres take advantage of it.
Yes, Miller plays on his knees. It opens up some under crossbar shots.Still a top goaltender.
I want Stafford off this team next year.
The tank is still alive. I would not have minded squashing the Leafs and postponing the tank just one day.

Do you really want someone to post the difference in "results" between when Rolston was the coach and with Nolan?

Great to hear from all the Leafs fans tonight. Just a reminder that the Sabres & Leafs each have 4 wins in December.

Some chirps were directed towards the account.

No one's confusing anything for anything else. What "results" can you possibly expect from one of the worst rosters I've seen in my entire life?

Yep Folgino/Leino/Omark had 2 shifts in that period, none in the last 10 minutes. I can't imagine they are all fully recovered--this might be a case of if Rochester wasn't an ocean away we might see some guys still sitting out. Nolan's short on bodies.

And the Leafs are the perfect team to take advantage of our shortened bench. They like to attack to begin with and are now getting the time and space to do just that.

He's basically invisible right now, and the puck hits his stick and meets an untimely death every time. His physical play has vanished completely. Take the first and run.

Put the C on Ellis if you need a guy who "tries real hard or whatever" to wear it.

I will be quite upset if they re-sign him before the deadline for $4m-$5m.
