This game was not a showcase for the sport, that's for sure. What a slog. Bring back fun.

Flyers broke their promise to him, and also hired a disaster of a coach. They costed him money and via their offense-smashing hire, were standing to suppress future earnings too.
Guy looked out for his career. He's got a right to do that. The Flyers should learn some lessons and stop delighting in treating players like shit. Make themselves a desirable place to be again.
The biggest indictment on the post-Snider Flyers is that they're no longer a place that players want to go. Fire everyone and hit reset.

What I can say is that I miss watching Flyers team with Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, Hartnell, regardless of results back then.

I miss the team with Howe, Kerr, Propp, Tocchet, Poulin, Lindbergh, McCrimmon and the rest of that group. They were fun to watch and had a lot of success.

In 1967 I was 6 years old, still remember watching the Flyers with my dad. Now I root for them to be embarrassed. Only way it'll get better is if it burns to the ground.
He has been fed a few S-tier chances and finished on them; benefitting largely from the playmaking and efforts of others, and given his past he isn't likely to continue finishing, but he's doing great at it right now.

Yea 5 goals on 9 shots. Most likely not sustainable but his line has unfortunately been the best offensively lately. Only one consistently generating chances
What does that mean? What did I “demand?” How am I being “babied?” Do you want to give it another shot?
Does Torts owe you and anyone else anything? What about Briere? Why are you so arbitrary in who is accountable in the context of fans and the people who play/manage the game and who is not? Do you operate the way Gauthier has with people you’re in a relationship with? I don’t.
Note we have no idea whether any of this (the first three paragraphs) is accurate because Gauthier hasn’t explained himself.
