Yes. I think so.

Torts benched players who didn't show effory. Mats has been the polar opposite.

I imagine Torts would have something to say to the tune of "I love how the little ******* is playing"

I do miss his interviews :(

My point is Torts did good things and I think AV has done good things, but both have had to compromise. Torts murdered our offense to make us a tough, stingy team. AV has made us a soft, sloppy team to get certain guys going offensively and he has.

But when the coaches have to compromise, the team is just no good and the onus is on the GM.

After Zucc passes the puck right in front of his own goalie tonight? and After slew footing his D, and interfering with Hank on another goal a few nights ago... Zucc most likely would not be on the team.

Not to displace blame, but I remember a number of Vancouver fans warning us that AV finds a way to ruin goaltenders.

The more I watch Nash the more I ****ing loathe him. Do something you supremely talented behemoth.

Not not blaming Hank for the poor goal, but Girardi needed to clear that high off the boards but did a lazy low clear which kept it in.

During his tenure in Vancouver he had the best goaltending in the league not involving Henrik Lundqvist, so that's just a crock.

I think we agree.

I preferred the heart and soul Rangers to the "touch pass, lazy deke" Rangers.
