Penguins blew a lead late. Quick, get this game in, stomp the Gulls, grab those two points and run for the testing tent.
Thank god, thought they were never losing again. That's one implosion. GWG was a weird one too.

... I am interested to see this kid, Troy Terry though. Never heard of him and for good reason. In his 3 prior seasons, he never had more than 7 goals. He's on pace to score 50 this year. Had his first hat trick last game.

Terry had lots of spotlight a few years back
Played USA WJC, then when NHL didn't go to '18 Olympics, he was one if the kids, on team of nonNHL vets, like Sanguinetti.
At '17 WJC he did an 'Oshie', hit on 3 shootout goals in Semi's vs Russia

Troy Terry was a good player at Denver and he had great success at the National Team level. If you haven’t heard of him then you basically only pay attention to who is on NHL rosters and nothing more.
As if there is something wrong with that. LOL

If you were to follow every point per game player in the minors and college, then I would assume there isn't much on your plate. I have things to do than to follow youngsters that are up against it, making it to the NHL.

Ducks got a nice steal during his draft year. Good player

Terry needed more time to develop on the NHL level. He was starting to show signs last season, but he was on one of the worst offensive teams in the league with a historically bad PP. Anaheim was not good the last few seasons so his offense numbers were effected. You could see the flashes and efforts, but he wasn’t putting up points yet… sound familiar?

Even with his success he had before the NHL, what has happened since? How do you go from 7 goals to a projected 50? That has to be a bit puzzling. Even his best year in college doesn't really compare to what he is doing now. There's a huge difference from being a PPG player in college than in the NHL.

Fans have gotten too misled by the 1% of young kids who produce immediately at NHL level.
It's a tough league.
Each kid's arc varies.
Finding your game at 24 is way more common than at 21 or 22.

And yet you are on a forum in which its origins were based around tracking prospects and organization’s farm systems. Weird position to take considering you are basically claiming a large majority of the members here have “nothing else on their plate”…. or maybe, its just too much info for you to process.

Either way, Troy Terry was a good prospect and needed some time to get going. Its no surprise considering is resume prior to turning pro that he has found something that has worked. This also does/did not require hard hitting research to have this opinion, I promise you.
