What happened to the funnel everything to the net approach. They're going back to their easily defended east-west tendencies. Big bodies dancing on the perimeter and almost always hoping for a high slot deflection. So damn irritating.

Brodzinski is an offense first, offense only player. So like PA Parenteau, if he's gonna be in the NHL he needs to be on a scoring line. Shouldn't be on the 4th with McKegg above him. Brod has 10 times the offense McKegg does.

Hoping it’s more personal load management given all the minutes he’s playing. He’s a smart enough player to know he has to pace himself if we’re headed to the POs.
You tire when you’re carrying most of the team on your back. That’s a lot of weight.

Stromes gotta be at 6 turnovers minimum
The blind spin pass just inside the blue line to no-one was particularly egregious. Strome is very good when he plays straight forward and makes creative passes when they present themselves, when he forces shit thinking he's Panarin he's horrible.

McKegg and Bitteto are a similar tier of player, which is why it's curious that McKegg has gotten the call so often this year and Bitteto has not.

Bitteto is a dman, where there's a bit more, uh, depth.

They are not playing at a good enough pace to warrant those types of blind spin-o-rama plays.
