[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We just tapped each other and he said, ‘Good job, kid.’ That put a smile on my face.
To have a good tilt like that, no harm done, and get the boys going.
- Dylan McIlrath

I just had a feeling that if we don't win this one, I'm not going to be a happy guy. It's a big win for us.
Right now, you have to look at it as taking baby steps in improving and start winning. You can't turn this around right away.
- Henrik Lundqvist

We're down by 2 early. We had a kill to make at a critical time. Found a way twice to come back in this game, something that we haven't done often this year.
So there's quite a few elements I hope we can build on and bring to the next game.
- Alain Vigneault

McIlrath is scratched? Come on. I think he's looked just as good if not better than Falk. I can't stand Falk. It seems like every time he's out there for a goal against he either gets burned or loses his man or chases someone around and is the cause of the goal. Him and John Moore have been at fault for goals more than any other defensemen

back to reality. prepare for a severe beating.

pitts is a very dangerous team. they can score. we arent. and we cant.

hank playing just average means 5-2 loss.

and scratching mcilrath isnt dumb. exposing him to pitts speed and skill may be great for his learning curve, but it wont help us win the game. hes not ready yet.

the tank isnt on just yet.

McIlrath scratched makes this game much less interesting to me. I'm tuning in to watch Crosby at this point.

It seems the Pens are the only team we can get pumped for and play well against . Nationally televised game+ actual starting goalie playing against us = win;)
Should be a good game, depending on which Rangers team shows up...
If its the floaty McFloatersons we lose. If its the try and play like highly paid professional athletes that give a krap , we win.
This is going to be an aggressive and highly motivated Pens team, and if we aren't skating it's going to be another early deficit.

What Rangers team have you been watching the past few years?

Anyways, I think I'm going to see Anchorman 2 tonight, so it looks like I'll be missing this one. Feel like I won't be missing much, so it'll be okay.

4-1 Pens.

Someone mentioned the other day that Crosby hasn't scored on the Rangers since McD joined the team. Crosby with 2 goals and 2 assists tonight.

:help:

Pens can and will score from any angel, so Henke better be on his game all game tonight..

No Malkin means some other pen will step up..

Not a fan of Henke for the 7th straight game though - could be our downfall tonight...

2am game starts are the best, said no one who has to be up early, ever

I really have to admire our Euro coterie here. I wouldn't be staying up often for 2am starts during early work/school weekdays under normal circumstances (whatever normal is, lol) let alone the way they've been playing lately.

You guys are solid fans!

Hopefully Kreider scores a goal tonight. He'll finally tie Richards for most goals on this team.
