Helleson will have done well if he turns out similar to Dumoulin (but opposite handed)
The irony being that I think Dumoulin eventually gets traded to open up a spot for Zell/Hell.

The logjam the ducks have in young d prospects is absolutely crazy and unprecedented to my knowledge. Not just the guys in the NHL but the many prospects in the pipeline even after trading Drysdale. We will be discussing their development and the ultimate decision of who to retain for the next 10+ years. Very likely the ducks end up trading some very good young d-men at some point (not soon) and let's hope they pick the right ones.

Yeah I think that's the next move to open up enough ice for all these guys, Dumoulin for a pick and a 7th D type

I LOVE BEATING THE LOILERS!!!!
One of my favourite playoff series was against them, 2017.
Specially the comeback in game 5.

Lots of positives after a rough start to the game. Verbeek should get credit because Trouba has been a great addition for very cheap value. Helleson continues to impress and maybe McTavish's best game of the season. Gauthier looks so close to exploding in points. Terry is having a really good season. He's such a good player.

Leo still struggling, and he looks lost on the ice. The PP is embarrassing. They need to figure it out. They would easily have a few more wins on the season of it was better. Cronin still needs to be fired. Overall, good win and fun game to watch. More please

I almost turned it off after being down 2-0. The second half of that game was fantastic by the Ducks... they looked like a totally different team out there. It gives me hope (well, except for the PP).

Lovejoy is my comp for Helleson. Don't notice him that much, but is rarely out of position.
Glad someone mentioned him. He had an epic intermission interview where, when asked what postives can he draw from the game so far (Ducks played like shit), he flat out said "nothing".

Also, while reading the Fowler thread I thought of Rev Lovejoy and how Fowler basically made this journeyman a top pair d-man, not to take anything from him, obviously he was very good complimentary player to Fowler.
