What the hell was ZAR doing there?

Stepping up in the neutral zone with Ruh deep.

If that pass wasn't bad, it's a 2 on 1 against.

******* moron.

Jarry stopping these hard dump-ins is really helping this defense. You guys have no clue how freaking much that helps defenders
Pens have been dying for a goalie that can handle the puck for decades since Tommy B left. Jarry is such a throwback to that, you can't dump a puck in and have a goalie that is weak at handling the puck deciding to stay in or dump it right back to them, Jarry handles the puck like a 3rd defenseman and it's helped the Pens with the defense transition a ton when he's playing.

I sure do...this guy is massively helping the D. He also is stopping the shots he's supposed to and then some. What more could we ask for.

Sometimes I think ZAR is just carrying the puck slowly to let the play develop. Then I realize he’s just really f***ing slow.

Without question. Over the course of a season, it saves the defensemen a lot of lumps. Easiest way to keep a blue line fresh is to have a goalie that can set them up for clean pick ups - or in Jarry's case, just break the thing out himself.

He was so Tommy B-esque in OT against the Kings. A puck handling goalie so compliments this team.
