Kakko has a major confidence issue. He doesn't want to take control of the play like he did before the draft. He has done it few times during his ELC, but it's not consistent. Frankly, no idea why at this point. I doubt it's a coach issue at this point (which it could have been under Quinn), is he afraid of the vets on his line or something?

Just frustrating.

I don't see a world where Gallant breaks up those married couples. Switch Kakko back with Panarin and try Laffy with ZibsKreider again... as orginally intended to start the year

but there's a common theme... Wingers have near instant chemistry with Strome.... Strome is better than a lot give him credit for

Strome gets more hate than he deserves. He makes his line mates better, no matter who it is.

It's rude to say this but if you just look at his interactions with other players and such he just seems like a beta personality. He is very awkward and has no confidence, on and off the ice. Just how he is as a person imo

He’s actually ultra competitive. Maybe even more than Laf. But he’s a introvert so that’s why it comes off as a beta.
