There is a disturbance in the force the rangers will score a goal in April .

You do realize we nearly made the SCF last year, right? You were watching the team then, I assume?

This is a different team than last year.
They need a different system, but Totorella refuses to change the system from last year.
He's either too stubborn or not good enough to adapt

Biron's play is irrelevant to us right now. Unless of course we're expecting him to shut everyone out.

No its not at all.

Team comes out ready to play, 45 second in Biron gives up a crap goal to deflate the team. Team starts playing well again, has a decent looking PP, Biron gives up another crap goal to deflate everyone again.

Guy is a terrible goalie. He has a good game every 4-5 games thats it.

Anyone complaining about the Nash trade is off their rocker.

He is ****ing awesome and one of the only players this season that i don't want to hear a complain about.

Him, Stepan and Zucc ;)

Or perhaps some of you people who continue the need to write "FIRE TORTS!" in every post can save some of that for the already-existing thread on the guy? I mean, there's a reason that thread exists, I assume.

I haven't said one bad word about Torts ever (and I complain a lot!) but I've started moving towards the "fire Torts" crowd after seeing yet again some of the mind-boggling choices he's been making.

Listen, I know that we all have fun here together and shoot the **** when the games are on, but I'll tell you guys this: Nash's allure is wearing off for me game by game. He doesn't know how to play a lick of Defense, gets frustrated and gives up when a defenseman takes the puck away from him, and I notice he floats when things don't go his way. Just my observations so don't jump down my throat here, I watch him just as much as you do, and I know he's a beast. I'm just not sure I make that trade in hindsight. The final factor for me will be next season. Anisimov, Dubinsky, Erixon ( a kid who literally screwed the Flames to come here to play for us, and we get rid of him and send him packing to Columbus...what a classy move), and a 1st round pick, which may be top 10 with how we are playing. Nash's hype is justified, but I am slowly starting to realize why Columbus was happy he left.

I'm seriously not trying to be a butt here. But I'm tired of people bringing this trade up like it was a bad thing. Nash is an elite player and i do this trade all day every day over and over. That is just my opinion, I'm not telling you you're wrong or to stop posting it, but in my opinion this argument is getting really old. If we gave Nash back and got Duby and Arty again this team would not be any better.

The game? Isn't that what the thread is for? I was unaware this was not a GDT.

Is Tortorella not involved in this game? Was the Kreider benching not during this game? Did Kreider bench himself? Nope, Tortorella--the man who we are talking about--did, so please cut the ****. It was a lot more peaceful between posters in here before you decided to post all this ********.

Miller has had two excellent chances and even the PP looked competent. I really can't find anything wrong with this other than they....just....can't.....score.....

Ugh.

That wasn't a crap goal. That was a crap bounce.

Crap goals? Ok whatever.

You can look at it like that and I agree, it's an accomplishment. By no means did we dominate though. We won series and any playoff run has a series or two of really tough series that needs goes to 7 with a lot of tough battles and close games but aside from game 1 against the Sens, we didn't play like a #1 seed against #8 #7. It's hard to imagine how we can grind through 4 series like that year after year, chance after chance to win a cup. In the series against NJ, we were outplayed in almost every game and more than 2/3 of periods except for 2 third periods that we won to notch 2 wins.

Frankly, this team isn't like last year's team as far as style and success so last year is as irrelevant as what Renney did.

torts making boneheaded coaching decisions isn't discussing the game? Again, Kreider benched and demoted, Boyle on the PP and 1st line, Girardi on the PP, breaking up the Steps-Hags-Nash line.

Seems like all those things happened in that first period and i have issues with all of them.

And why is everyone so livid? Judging by the pre-game posts, this game was written off by 90% of this board before the puck dropped.

Something's got to give.

Your opinion. I still do that trade 100 times out of 100.

Can you give me an explanation as to why? Give up a guy who scored 54 points for us as our 1st line center 2 years ago, a guy who has loads of skill and potential as well as defensive awareness, a guy who projects to be a top 6 defenseman, AND a 1st round pick which may be in the top 10

for: Rick Nash, a 65-70 point player.

Boyle over kreider? Haha what a joke. Put kreider on the miller-cally line and you have a good third line. I saw kreider moving and skating that period, but to the black hole of the 4th line he goes,. **** this ****

That wasn't a crap goal. That was a crap bounce.

How about his piss poor attempt to hit the puck away after it hit the side of the net that is a very standard play by goalies so the puck doesn't go to the front of the net?

Ugh.

My question is what the ****** Miller was doing shooting right into Price's glove. He had a wide open left side of the net, and he shot RIGHT at Price's glove. It's one thing if he made a diving save like Bishop did the other night on that brilliant save, it's another to shoot right at the goalie's gear. Maybe he didn't think he had as much time, but he had a wide open left third of the net to shoot at.
