They aren't playing great enough. That first goal should have never happened and if this team was smart enough, they would have noticed that every time one of our defensemen tries to pinch once one of our PP ends, it always leads directly to a goal against.

How would a bottom five finish help the team moving forward?

it hopefully accelerates the decision making on the moves that need to be made for this organization forward instead of delaying them. i believe missing the playoffs greatly increases the chances of torts being fired for one.

Defense is looked a bit ragged that period.

Offense got some chances but when the opposing teams net is only 6 inches wide by 4 inches high it's tough to put those chances away.

It honestly doesn't make sense.

We completely outplayed them.

Biron and Lundqvist always have to make saves. Every shot. Pads, blocker, glove. Anything.

OUR SHOTS ARE USELSS. We shoot like total ****. Every shot goes right into the ****ing goalie

lol @ people ******** on Biron. He's the ****ing backup goalie. How about we bury one or two of our chances instead of blaming him.

Yeah he should have had the 2nd, but Eminger was the problem on the 1st. Aside from the 1 goal, Biron has played a good first period. The DZ deflection was very hard to stop, he made a good kick save on I-Don't-Remeber-Who and one more good glove save. Biron's not the issue. He's one of the better backups.
