Ownership has changed coaches mid season twice since they took over. Carlyle to Bruce, and Carlyle to Bob Murray doing it himself. One time have they paid two guys at once. Seriously doubt they'll do it again.

Right… I just think that if they didn’t veto an overpaid player, they are not really the penny pinchers this board thinks they are
They have to spend the money, like, it's an obligation. You could argue they are pinching pennies by taking on contracts where less money is owed than their cap charge!

There's also the option of having one of the assistants become an interim coach until the end of the season (without knowing if Cronin is on a 2 or 3 year contract). However, i have no idea which one of the assistants that would be. Thompson maybe? Our defenders (outside of Minty's sophomore slump) are the only players showing real progression, but he's also Greg's right hand man so who knows if he would be any different.

Henry Samueli has a net worth of like 25b and we're one of the lowest cap teams in the league for several years, even if they aren't pinching pennies the GM they hired is spending money in all the wrong areas.

Crazy we havnt addressed the obvious need for offensive help
The players PV wanted didn't want to come here. They are ruining Nashville. We have enough offense. We just don't have a proper coach to use the players in their own right places. This team needs a coaching change in the worst way possible

Paraphrasing, a very frustrated, I don't understand stand all these drop passes!
He also said post game the teams needs to change it’s strategy because everyone circles back instead of pushing the puck up ice. He, in a Hazy way, complained the Ducks never push the play to put some transition pressure on the other teams defense because all they do is circle back.

So much of it seems to be lack of cohesion though. We need another finisher for sure but we also really just need a coach who can get these guys gelling.
Ya I mean Cronin isn’t going to be around much longer, but I think we still need a top 6 forward with this group.

Our offense has been borderline historically bad since like 2019 at least, I don't see how this is 'enough offense'.

If they remove cronin it's because he's lost the kids, they aren't improving. So, they would have to review if the assistants have a different perspective on reaching them or if they are acolytes.

I'd rather clean house, but that isn't happening in the middle of a season. It isn't practical.

At this rate I’m ready to sign Mitch marner to n the offseason

I don't hate the notion myself, he's an elite producer and one of the few players capable of elevating what we have. I found it interesting that he's actually been better this year without Matthews, seems to take the bull by the horns himself.

3 goals 26 assists in 29 games with Matthews in the lineup, 10 goals 10 assists in 12 games without.
