Down too quickly, too, IMO. Top shelf was WIDE open.
 
I'm sorry, but that's a terrible call. The contact happened when the goalie came out. I'm sick of this double standard where we are always called for that and teams that do it to Hank are never called.
 
Rangers have to stop with these low percentage outside shots. Its so ******* annoying. They need to get more shots from the slot or high slot. If you can't pass it towards the slot, skate it into the slot.

Was a very well placed shot, looked better when I saw the replay. Hank needs to stop some of those, getting beat on a perfect shot isn't as big a deal but that's how he has stole us games for so long.
 
Wait, is that a penalty? I know I'm kind of new to hockey, but if you go between a defender and the goalie, and the defender pushes you to fall over the goalie, that's a penalty?
 
It's a good call, Zucc was stupid for trying to take that route between the goalie and the defender. Savard helps make sure he makes contact with the goalie but he's gonna bump him as the puck is coming to the net anyway.
 
I'm not a "refs hate us" kind of guy, but we sure are on the losing end of iffy goalie interference calls.
 
Hank is Bryzgalov 2.0. Gets his money and contract and starts sucking. Cannot believe Sather went through with the contract after seeing his play so far this year. Now this team is stuck with this bum for 7 years...

Puck was in the net before he even had a chance to get down. The error was in his positioning. He gave the shooter everything he needed. If he's 1-2 feet over to the left he at least has a chance of it hitting him.

Either way, you give credit to the shooter on that goal. Sick shot, and in the net before you even have a chance to react.

Since Zuke skated in the blue, it was probably viewed as that contact never happens if Zuke stays out of the crease, but it was an iffy call for sure.
