We need to keep picking up 2 pts when we are playing these weaker teams like the Devils and Sabres. Bank some points and hopefully the injury situation will improve.

Kind of tough when your missing at least 3 guys in the top 9 , add to the fact that hockey is such a tough sport that any team can take it any night.

But I do get your point

Sid with the glove save.

His hand-eye is preposterous. The only guy from another sport I can compare it to is Curry.

Edit: or Larry Fitz. But Larry Fitz is paid to catch stuff.

I wanna talk just for a second about playing fast vs. being fast.

Laff is fast but he can't play at his speed. His mind isn't on the same level and his hands aren't either. Kap is an example of a guy who mixes his speeds up and his mind/hands play at his elite speed. McDavid/Sid are the ultimate examples of guys who play at elite pace and their minds are still in slow motion even at top speed.

So when we say we want players who play fast, I don't care about their foot speed per sey. I want to see them play at a fast pace with their mind/hands.

Well OK good period and 1 goal lead. But the Pens need to limit the turnovers and being to aggressive in entering the zone anticipating a play to be made. Pens got lucky there with doing that so that has to be corrected. Jarry positioning was very good and Pens right side D is as good as it gets with Marino looking much better. Just so so with McCann. He looks like he can be a difference maker but just doesn't have the instincts needed to make that extra play.

Totally played through the last commercial. Sid has his wheels back. I can't believe I doubted him earlier this season.

Neither Lafferty or Jankowski bring the intensity that is needed for the fourth line. How can our staff just watch them sashay around
That’s also on management though for not promoting guys from WBS. Sully had made it clear he is going to play these clowns, so maybe the GM should step in?
