I'll never understand why our dmen are so aggressive behind the net. No one is scoring from there but we constantly chase instead of protecting the most dangerous area of the ice.

It's really really really weird to analyze. Sid/Jake/Rust is so amazing but their d-zone and inability to rotate high in the o-zone to support the defense is equally as bad as they are dominant in the o-zone. It is sorta like when Kessel/G were dominating offensively but equally non-existent in the d-zone. It's strange

McCann is the most one and done player i've ever seen. He rarely is able to make something happen on a rebound or get a puck in the corner. He's so Grabner like. Deadly shot. Great on transition. But he's one an done.

Grabner is still a UFA right? He would have to better than some of the guys we're playing now. At least as a 4th line energy guy.

Someone is going to overpay us for Palmieri and I'm going to laugh.
Honestly, even when he's scoring 25-30 goals, his passing is bad, he loses every board battle, he takes a ton of low percentage shots. This season he's especially bad.

You know I'll say this. The Devils aren't a good team, but this game is a prime example of a weak team that is still playing really hard and giving a good effort.

It's absurd to me that the Devils could give this type of effort but Buffalo can't.
