The standard around here is way too f***ing high for a goalie. He misplayed a few situations and he's getting old but this is a very average performance by a goalie as a whole. Crucify him for 2 bad goals but if we win 3-2 in regulation, Henrik would have been one of the better players going 2 GA on 40 shots.

Yes, usually when the goalie makes 40 saves, my first reaction isn't to blame him.

The SO is a crapshoot, but those 2nd and third goals were awful.

So was the last goal in the SO. I've got no problems with the first one; he got beat clean. The last one, though... he just stood facing front while Silfverberg skated by to his right. I literally threw my hands up in real time and said "WTF ARE YOU DOING?"

Lundqvist lost us this game. Absolute garbage performance.

Really no other way to paint the picture. I’m a huge fan of his. But he’s inches away from 38 and he’s just not keeping us in games with the same consistency we’re used to.

I don't think Hank is done. He is still an NHL goalie. There is no place for him on the youngest team in the league. Especially when we have two, young, NHL ready goalies ready to go. Georgiev should be getting more starts, Shesty should not be in the minors. Simple as that.

If you care about the future, you want these guys playing and growing and maturing and gaining experience.

Really though? Hanks sporting a GAA around 3.50 when his teammate is like a goal less. A very average performance is far from a high standard. It gives you 500 Hockey

we win one then lose one. Wouldn’t you think go back to the guy winning games to avoid those scenarios?
