Marino has had a rough period.

Jarry should have had that third goal.

i mean.. i dotn know wat to make of that. Marino looked bad geting walked, Jarry got caught too far out, but when he tried to get back Letang sat in the crease like a baby. i just dont know. That was bad all around.

Jarry lets up a goal and then completely collapses. That goal is up there with one of the worst goals of the season.

What he does or does not do in the 3rd will be VERY telling.

Neither ZAR or Simon even play “Mike Sullivan hockey.’ They play slow, lazy, east/west hockey like the entire team did last season, but the coaching staff for some reason haven’t figured it out.

Back to a one line team. Jarry cant get a shutout every game. Sully messed with McCann and Kahun as well...not just AG. But most dont wanna hear it even tho the results are right in front of them.

Simon on 2nd line ruining both McCann and Kahun. At least put Tanev back there. Hes the only other player to get them going other than AG

Genuinely the first time in his short career I can say Marino didn't look spectacular that period. Rookie hiccups a-plenty.

But Letang was flat-out terrible a handful of times, two of which directly lead to goals.

I think the way we were outskated and chasing . . . there may be another period or more that's been as bad, but I'm hard pressed to think of one that's been worse since the opener.

This might’ve been the little break Murray needed to get his net back. Jarry was bound to let up a couple eventually, but I bet Sullivan goes back to Murray after this game. Whether or not Murray responds is a different topic altogether.
