He has 4x as many points as his linemate

You bring up a good point. In fact, I haven't really done the exact math on this but I'm pretty sure our entire bottom 6 is on pace for something like 15-20 points total by the end of the season. That has to be some sort of really depressing record.

Per Brad, "We've had our fair share of slow starts of late".

Brad Richards: Expert on the concept of slow. A scholar even.

You could bound a narcoleptic to a log and it'd have a better burst than Richards.

I stand totally corrected. He should have 50 points right now. Since he can't perform with those studs, I say demote him and put him on a line with Richards or Gabs until he can get his act together.

Lets not even joke like that. The sad thing is that Gaborik and Richards are actually about as effective as Boyle and Pyatt right now...

My solution: Call up Lindberg (when his team is eliminated). Move Hags down, move Kreider up (purely on playing styles). Kreider has chemistry with Step, he was most effective in the playoffs last year playing on the same line with him. Hagelin is more of a checker.

Keep first line in tact, hope to God that Richards and Gaborik get their act together playing with Nash and that line gets some good chemistry. Assume Kreider-Step-Cally line is as dynamic as it was last year during the playoffs. Have a fast and good forechecking line for once this year with Hagelin-Lindberg-Miller. Demote Boyle to the 4th line where he belongs with Powe and Asham.

Heady move by Kreider. Break in on 3 on 1, see Boyle as your passing option, shoot.

wow they are actually getting decent shots. not 41 one ****** lobs from the far reaches of the blue line or from bad angles.
