I'm sorry, but you think Girardi is a below average d-man. I'm not the one that needs to learn more about the sport.

Whatever helps you sleep. He shouldn't be playing 25 minutes a night because he's physically able to stand up with a stick in his hands. He would be a perfect 3/4 d-man which would cut down on his ice time and probably eliminate some of his insanely stupid mistakes, but instead he's our undisputed #2 because he's a minute-eater.

And below average was an overreaction. He's average most nights, slightly above average at best.

Blatant dive; disappointing that people would say otherwise. As someone who has grown up in a football country, I can only assure you all that diving needs to be punished severely and regularly because if not it will become a scourge on the game of hockey.

Wait, so he'd be a perfect 3/4? So how the **** is he below average?

If you honestly didn't think that was a dive then you're a huge homer lol.
He clearly helped it. They should call that more often though.

Disagree that it's one or the other on penalty/dives. You can embellish a slap to the face. Doesn't mean the slap didn't happen.

It needs to be called against EVERY PLAYERS.

I agree. But I do think that the current batch of refs have too much of a tendency to go 1 for 1. The call on Whitney last night was a joke.

???

The hell are you talking about?
