I thought zucker may rejuvinate his game on first PP, but he may be the worst PP player I ever seen.

Kapanen is right up there with him on the power play.

I am reminded how much I hate watching the Devils. I don't even hate any of the current players, but I don't enjoy watching these games. When they were good and trapping and Marty ruled they were not interesting to watch. Just the opposite. Did their fans even enjoy that shit? Thank the Gods for two line passing, even if it cost us a lockout for the rule change. Now they're young and different and I still dislike their style. I don't think it is homerism as I like the Rangers and appreciate #8 and company. Just a Jersey thing, maybe? Ugh.

I looked up John Gillies.

He played an ECHL game, four AHL games, and another NHL game this season. He was on an ECHL team, two AHL teams, and two NHL teams THIS season.

He was an incredible college goalie. At one point was one of the best goalie prospects. Injuries derailed him and he never really took the next step in the AHL. Glad to see him get a chance.

Meh They had some years where they were actually one of the best offensive teams in the league during their DPE run. It’s just that nobody cared/remembers because they’d already gotten the rep as a trap team

Agreed. He was in perfect shooting territory.

Even if Kapanen hasn't been gelling if I was the player I wouldn't be expecting a pass. I'm expecting to go down and get the rebound.

actually I don't think he is stationary, I wish he was, he would have better chance get a pass from Sid, he is instead skating around mostly away from the puck
