Yes, because Hayes was playing C the whole time in pre-season, so they decided the moment the season started they’d flip them, so yeah they wasted a lot of time for something they seemed to already figure out, could have had Puljujarvi and Puustinen up in those games instead or even had Rutger playing RW instead to see how he looked there in another game.
