I was wondering if Heddy was in trade discussions in the game. Any news? I watched the game no sound so no idea if they said something.
 
Good thing Buffalo is terrible. That wasn't pretty but at least Vasy made some key saves in the 3rd. I would've pulled him after the 5th, he just didn't have it tonight and the rest of the team was pretty bad.

However, the new guys looked really good. Yanni stood out every time he was on the ice and Bjorkstrand was effective and engaged in more subtle ways. Love the block by Cernak at the end.

The Maestro scores the GW. Oh, with an A from Mr 37. . Down 5-3 then 3 unanswered for the W. Mark of a stone cold winner. Holy flurkingschmidt. I defer to the scriptwriter.

It doesn't sound like Hedman will be out long term either, given that he was walking around after the game and the mood seemed as usual after a win. Even if he misses a couple to.a few games, it wouldn't be a terrible outcome given what could've been.

They've been on such a good streak, we got lucky this poor effort came against Buffalo - you can pretty much score as many goals as you need. They are so accommodating they helped us out on our first two.

Beavis is trying to prove he's worth that 9 mil and making a convincing case lately.

Lilleberg had a double f-up on one play - a fumbled pass turnover and then fell down - one short of a f-up trick.

Gourde looks good, I no longer mourn Ace, though I do think he's a better fourth liner than either Chafing or Gonzo. Bjork looks like I remember him against us and I'm glad we have him and now potentially three good lines. Need to see them against someone other than Buffalo and on a night when they are actually playing defense.

Hopefully Geekie comes back up in time to get ready for the playoffs, takes Gonzo's place on the third and one of Gonzo or Chafe sits. I question whether he's ready for the intensity of the playoffs though.

Cooper basically said "we'll see Saturday" about Heddy, so he doesn't seem to think it's long term.

Thompson looks like a gangly giant out there.

To think I've spent the last 2 weeks ranting like a depraved mad man about whether or not this team can dig out goals if their structure doesn't hold up. Then they go and prove it
