I'd WANT Army to make the rumoured deal having The Leafs trade 3 NHL-ready young prospects to The Blues for Schenn (especially if one is a centre); But A GM just can't trade off a current key veteran that's also the team's captain when the team is so close to a playoff position. That is NOT a player-friendly move. The Blues don't want to scare future potential free agent signees away with a player-unfriendly reputation. He couldn't face his players again after pulling the rug out from under them. That is just not done.

So many Blues played really well overall. It's mighty impressive for them to win a game in this arena this season, where The Kings were 19-4.
