He still drifts WAY too far left when playing right D. And he has GOT to hit the net. I really do think they should consider trading him while he has value and putting someone else on the right side who can actually play the position.

That's a good point, he's on the left side every time...

Yes, because that's what people here are saying.

:shakehead

A loud minority have implied more than rust and shakiness. I'm not pointing fingers or accusing a large amount of people of saying it, but there are some who have excess vitriol for our team's most valuable player.

Some semblance of improvement towards the end. Zucc was by far the best Ranger, though considering how bad most looked I'm not sure how impressive that is.

They are not making smart decisions out there. Stupid, stupid, stupid idea by stepan trying to pass to richie in a tight area with Couture right there waiting for it.

Zucc has Pouliot trailing on the PP there at the end and he elect to throw a lazy wrist shot at the net to be covered up for a whistle.

Del Zotto....as usual....wound up and took a slap shot right into the legs of the opposing defender. When is that idiot going to get a shot through or simply not shoot out at all and move the puck to someone else...

Ooof.

Looks like we got paid back for that bounce on Quick yesterday with the referee in full cone mode. Two bounces off the same ref leading to a goal? Thanks, ass.

Also, very nitpicky, but the Sharks center on their second goal should have been tossed... but yeah, can't really complain about that.

Hank also needs to stop that first goal.

As I was afraid, we don't seem to have the same jump tonight that we had yesterday. Typical on the back-end of a back-to-back; but from what I've seen from this team, we need energy and jump to make the system work.

Winnable game. LGR.

The play happened because Stepan thought he could put the puck through a player.

But(I believe it was Richards) was blocking the lateral pass. He was standing right next to Stepan for no reason. So Step had nowhere to go, and Coutier picked the puck from him.

They look really disorganized. Rangers need a practice...

Would like to not see Del Zotto/Girardi on powerplays. Staal/McDonagh/Moore/Richards can just be the point men.

Brutal period. Rangers can't wilt like that when things don't go their way.

While the 5-on-3 PP looked good, the 5-on-4 PP is disastrous tonight with the Sharks getting plenty of quality scoring chances shorthanded.

Is MDZ hurting us defensively? Are we overpaying him? Why the need to trade him just because he hasn't blossomed offensively?

Uh, there's more to it than that...

Ya know, all things considered, I'll take getting out of that period only down by 1. Weathered the storm, somewhat; Come out strong in the 2nd.
