Why 7D? Sit Pionk. He was bad both games, let him watch from up top and give ADA a legit shot. 7D is gonna lead to Tony getting 5 mins at even strength and then some PP time.

However, sometimes 11F and 7D can work. John Cooper has done a lot of it in Tampa. It’s all about how they’re used. We’ll see.

I don't think the defense has been an issue whatsoever. We could score some more goals though. That'd be nice.

It’s not a big deal. Icetime is well allocated on this team, we’re young, fast, well-conditioned. It won’t be hard to split duties on double shifting. We have to find out who our top six D are and we can’t do that while sitting ADA.

I thought our first game wasn’t too bad. I don’t think it’s the rookies making a lot of the defense fails a large part of them go to Staal

I like 11 and 7. Mix and match bad options on D depending on the situation. I also don't see why its a bad thing to have 11F. If a player like McLeod is only going to get five minutes anyway, why not just give that time to your best forwards?
