It was said before season we have "2" number 1 goaltenders. Sharing duties behooves this team for this year. It gradually extends Shesty's pro games, and gives some earned respect to Georgiev and his good play and the team loves him.
You sit a goaltender that just got a great shutout and teams 1st win? If it was a b2b, I could understand, but NOT with 2 days in between games.
This makes a helluva lot more sense than, JJ over ADA.

Gaborik was so good here. I was pissed at Torts when we traded him.

I was upset too, especially at how NYR fans shit on Gabs once they had a flashier new toy in Nash. Until Panarin came around he was about our best big name free agent signing in the cap era.

But they did end up trading him pretty much at exactly the right time. He started to go downhill fast and Brassard ended up being a huge steal for us.
