I see. My other league on Yahoo has very different rules...about everything.

I don’t see any option to change the IR rule, the only things I changed from default are things people agreed upon with the scoring system

That’s not uncooperative I know you had a 1st round pick in there but, if this isn’t a multi year keeper league what am I gonna do with a pick?

Schmaltz got 59pts in 63gp last year
Kuzmenko was the 2nd leading scorer in KHL last year, in the preseason he's one of leading scorers in the NHL

You can think of the pick as a sign of good will, future considerations so to speak

Schmaltz had a career year, is on a horrible roster with little help, and he brings nothing in hits, blocks or +/- in a fantasy league. Seider had 50 as a rookie D and 10x the hits/blocks. Just not a good trade for me.

I'm open to trades, I just can't ship out Doughty when my only other healthy D are Parayko, Erik Johnson, and Graves. If McAvoy was healthy is would be a little different, but for the moment D is my biggest weakness and you keep asking for my D.

EDIT: Also, my M.O. is fantasy is usually to just tinker around the edges the first couple weeks until I have a better read on what I have.

The Kings schedule lines up so that they play 3 games in every single "yahoo fantasy week" & their bye week just so happens to be a Yahoo Fantasy bye week as well where they extend it to 2 weeks lol

Yeah I had the same deal- was ahead until yesterday evening. Didn’t really expect Point and Josi to suck so much but hopefully they’ll get going

Each weekly matchup is a game, weekly points are the score of each game, the standings are determined by your record. As far as I know total points over the season would only matter as a tiebreaker. The type of league it is is "Head to Head Points"

Do players actually need to be on IR for us to place them in an OR slot? Buch is not on IR and it's killing me that I can't IR him myself and claim someone else. Being out for 3 consecutive games doesn't qualify for an IR slot?

I think the team has to officially place the player on IR. Whatever that means. I have the same problem with Buch in my ESPN league
