It has to stay at three..no chance I draft a second goalie who happens to be Jordan f***ing Bininngton in the 6th round if there's no goalie minimum. Plenty of better players still on the board at that point.

There’s 32 starters in the league. Several A/B situations in net. You can’t make everyone strategize for a 2 goalie system and then subvert it. Maybe that’s how they do things in Medellin but this is ‘Murica bud.

This is the most managers I have drafted with in a league (usually it's just 10 or 12). Do more folks in the group make the rosters more top 2 pick reliant or does it highlight the support players more? Does anything matter?

A little bit of both, but typically deep leagues are won on the waiver wire or getting lucky with injuries. Breakout picks and unexpected career years can also be a big difference maker.
