OT: 2nd Annual Free HFNYR Yahoo Fantasy Pool (KUPO WINS!)

I am willing to entertain blockbusters around Zach Parise, Owen Tippett, Lawson Crouse, and Sean Monahan (he's healthy now!).

On a more serious note, Anthony Duclair is healthy. I don't know what I have with him and plan on leaving him on IR for as long as I can, but if someone is really interested I'm definitely open to moving him.

Anyone have a top notch RW or LW/RW they want to swap? I'm open to expanding the deal as well.

Tage Thompson is basically my only untouchable at this stage of the season.

Fair enough, I value Tkachuk and Josi pretty high & that package wasn’t quite there.

Was a fair package though, but not what I was looking for.

If you ever change your mind on Thompson we can start a deal with a base of

What sucks is that basically half the league has quit, meaning there are a ton of potential deals out there that will never even have a chance. I proposed a solid dozen deals over the last few weeks that just went without a response.

Same.....We need to vet players better next year. Plus we need to go Keeper to prevent bad faith deals at the end of the season.

Or we have to do with my buds leauge did. At the half way point when every opponent has played each other the inactive accounts can be transferred to other people willing to play

I mean I will give myself some credit, basically any proposal I initiate, I'm offering up at least equal value if not sending out a little more. The only time I go one-sided is when someone counters me with something silly. So it's not like people weren't responding because my proposals were terrible, they just weren't even there. I'd even send follow up messages and everything.

Yeah it's a super deep league with 4 bench spots, 2 IR, and the IR+ for 20 teams. There's slim pickings on waivers, and even the good LTIR guys are all stashed away. I mean it's cool, we had a bunch of people that wanted to play, it just makes it difficult.

I found at the start of the season I let my bias towards certain players get to me…. honestly even rn a little with Tkachuk.

Besides that I’d say I’m the exact same. I try to look at projected points and current standings

Ah yeah that’s a good point. Would definitely benefit those who watch a ton of hockey and know their players though.

But I agree, maybe a keepers leauge of 15 would be good

Not that I am in favor of expanding the league any further, but this is why I've taken to the idea of the banger stats. Playing with hits and blocked shots, you can find moderately useful plugs who otherwise wouldn't even be on the fantasy radar. I got through the early part of the season using guys like Brendan Dillon on the banger stats.

I drafted DIllon & he was averaging like 2 points a night....I quickly cut bait.
