[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

We’re going to be ready, the games are always tight. It’s never high scoring games against Jersey.
We’ll play our game, be patient and take care of what we need to do defensively, and try to create offensively.
- Marian Gaborik

I had a few chances tonight that I’d like to go in and I’ve had a few as of late. I’ve been snakebitten here but it is what it is.
We got the two points and hopefully it gets a little confidence in the room and we can put a few more pucks in the net.
- Michael Del Zotto

We weren’t happy with the way we played in the first but we kept on going.
I thought our forechecking really picked up as the game progressed.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is work in progress.

Big game again. They need to play even better then yesterday. Yesterday was ok but not great.

Debs
Hank in a back to back
Still no scoring
Back up in net
Oh boy
Lgr

The Rangers are headed for another road defeat tonight. Jersey will score some goals off soft Rangers defensive zone coverage. The Rangers played well in Newark when that building first opened. Its been a struggle the last few seasons.

They should just give the Vezina collectively to all the backup goalies that suit up against the Rangers.

Devils havent given up over 27 shots in 13 straight games. Teams just cant generate much offense against them, and Hedberg has played much better of late.

If this team doesnt produce a 60-minute wire-to-wire effort, and they end up losing in the process, I think it might be time to make a significant change.

Tonight is essentially a must-win playoff game.

This Devils team is -9, and has so many OT/SO loses

Florida Panthers of last year. Let's put them in their right place, the draft lottery.
Preferably for 2 years, so that they sacrifice a top-pick

I am now going to annoy people by being mindlessly positive. Win or lose, just make it a strong game. Even though we don't have many games left, we're not that far removed from playoff spots so long as we get our game together and make a push playing NYR hockey, whatever it may be.

1-0 Rangers

Henke with a shutout? Nah, not happening this season. Never ever again. Lundqvist will always get scored on 1 time minimum from this point until the end of his career. He's just not an elite goalie anymore, hardly top 10 in the league. Anderson is the new elite goalie in this league, along with Bobrovsky and Prince Chad.

I'll be there in Section 106 hopefully surrounded by blue, and hopefully don't have to hear that awful goal horn and song very much. God I hate that crap.
