they literally repeated the famous loss to the st louis blues losing 6-5. Only difference, st louis was a good team when this happened!

Look its simple as this:

Our donkey of a coach needs to assess how his team is playing during the game and learn to call a timeout mid f’kin game!

Get this pos goalie off this team. He literally can’t make a big save, gives up softies like no other goalie

This team needs to see a f’kin see a shrink because they still haven’t learned that you need to match hard work with that skill... go up 5-1 then fall asleep and lose to one of the worst teams in the league! Why is it so damn hard to play a legit 60mins!

Keefe is a clown

Feels like some bad breaks more than a complete meltdown. That tip to tie it was a low percentage outcome, they got luck with the 1 in 100 "perfectly timed penalty box exit", Leafs just missed on a bunch of opportunities.

Not great, but this doesn't feel like it did a few years back when the team collapsed in these types of situations a couple of times because it looked like it how to play hockey.

Freddy was average with a couple of blunders but I don't get the narrative that he's a complete dumpster fire all of a sudden.

hahaha lol i cant stop laughing at this stuff. Ive really lost most of my interest in professional sports over the past few years, hockey was the last and its very thin right now. Ive only watched bits and pieces of games these days. But a few things that don't seem to change in Leafland.

1. All teams have games like this, most of the time you dont see or care about them though. Leafs however get amplified and our fans react the loudest.
2. Even with #1 being true, the Leafs teams seem to make losing terribly an art form. Seriously, the cringe losses this squad has under its belt rule the league.
3. Anderson is not to blame for the absolute chaos that ensues in front of him, but he MUST come up with something that stops the momentum which he just doesnt seem to do anymore.
4. 4-5 years and different coaches trying to "teach" some of these players to be responsible and show up every night and every period and work hard on your shifts. Yet it's the same story most nights. They take one or two periods off just floating around and waving their sticks at the puck, dropping coverage.
5. The Leafs are #1 in the Canadian division and will most likely be number at the end as well. But they are at the top of a very bad division this year and if they had to play against the East division in this schedule it would be awful results.

Tonight was just so sad you have to laugh at it.

I'm not going to pile on after terrible loss against a garbage team but I haven't posted in here for several weeks.

I'm still not convinced that this is a Cup contending team because they play in the weak Canadian division. They would probably still struggle against the better American based teams.

Talk of a weak Canadian division is greatly exaggerated

Truly embarrassing. Too many garbage plays by too many players to even comprehend right now

I think Dubas has done well this year but if he enters the playoffs with Andersen for a 5th time in a row he deserves what he gets if it's a firing in the off season.

I think there’s going to be many hot takes here where people complain that everyone’s overreacting to the last two losses.

But what I really think happened is that everyone overreacted to the teams hot start.

I think we may be back to seeing the “real” leafs. Hope I’m wrong.

Galechneyuk right now

To be fair, that's Gal on every team he's been on...

This team still has their mentally small moments I see. Lots of embarrassing moments for these guys like being trounced in JT's return to NY, Losing to a Zamboni driver, and now blowing a 5-1 lead to the worst team in the NHL. We're at the top of the division so I don't want to overreact but stiff like this can't keep happening.
