Skjei is gonna have a long week to think about his issues. Kid is better than this. I think the be more aggressive stuff isn’t what he should be worrying about. I think he should worry about being a good dman first. Take less chances stop getting caught constantly. Play stay at home hockey then gradually add more. He needs to get back to what got him into the league. Steady D.

Was thinking exactly the same thing.

Many positives through two months, Skjei is one of the few minuses - literally and figuratively. I'm not sure he ever puts it together, but this regression (and identity crisis, you're not an offensive dman) may prevent him from being much more than an average option.

Is DeAngelo a better option at this point? That question was never in consideration months ago.

No one hurt me because I stood up for myself. Go watch Byufglien on JT, or The predators game from last year then get back to me.

Imagine thinking the Buff on JT incident is still relevant to this team or using it as an excuse to promote hurting players.

Sorry, don’t see that. Objectively, why should he?
Played his entire career here....broke all of Howell's defensive records (and that's not counting the games he played at center). Held all of those records until Leetch.

Today, Head trauma is worse than it’s ever been.

Head trauma across the league might be up, which is due to the speed of the game, bigger players, etc.

Yet, the disproportionate brain injuries related to enforcers from the past was also clear, hence the (slow) removal of barbarism from the game.

Facts do matter. And you know what else matters, not leaving out important facts so you don't make misleading statements to prove your agenda.
