[FIELDSET="QUOTES TO NOTE"]

I would have struggled trusting me too, last year. I was playing through an injury. There are no hard feelings, I learned a lot from him.
I had a pretty positive experience on the whole. At the end of the day, it's two points and we're happy to come away with the win.
- Chris Kreider

I think everyone was still unhappy with the loss in Boston. But we're over it and we knew we could get a better feeling around this team with a big win.
It’s obvious it was a big game for both coaches. But, over that, it was more important to get the two points and get the win and we won.
- Rick Nash

I think since Chris has been here since we’ve called him up he’s been one of our better forwards, he’s using his strengths.
He’s using his size and tonight was a perfect indication of that. With his speed on the 1st goal, that quick transition beat one of the best goalies in the NHL.
He had a real strong game. We need that from him. He’s not the same player we saw in preseason.
- Alain Vigneault

I hate Poo in the lineup. What has he done to earn it?

If they want to keep Richards on the wing, they should bring in a legit 3C. The fourth line should be Boyle - Moore - Dorsett. Third line Hagelin/Callahan-New C-Zuccarello

That said, they should be able to get a win here.

Evander Kane is injured. He always kills the Rangers so lets win this one.

Hope Brass starts playing like a 2C. Hope Cally gets it going, too. We're not gonna do much with one line that can (theoretically) score consistently- Hagelin-Moore-Zucc isn't bad but there's no legitimate finisher there.

Moore has 1 point in 23 games, is essentially playing the Darrel Powe role for us now, so playing him with Hagelin and Zuccarello probably isn't great for that lines offense.

That said, Moore is playing lately like the coaches told him to be a little more assertive offensively.

3 should-win games coming up. lets put a little streak together and get out of the middle of the pack.

LGR!

wrong moore

Re: John Moore though...

It's a shame. He has such a nice shot. But seeing him try to play defense with the likes of MDZ or Falk really made me nervous. He should be playing with Hartford. Bring up Bickle to scratch or something.

At Garden for #NYR AM skate. Old news but #Canucks' Tom Sestito had no hearing for his headshot on Michael Del Zotto, which is a joke

Moron doesn't belong in the league, think Torts would have learned from Bickel using him as a punching bag numerous times

I'm a huge John Moore fan. But I'm not going to argue that Falk is a good guy for the #6 role. "Something's gotta give" as they say. Moore needs minutes. Is he eligible to be sent down?

AV likes JM alot, so he won't be sitting for long, Falk has played well and adds toughness which we severely lack, so MDZ?

Talbot starting tonight.

“@PLeonardNYDN: Cam Talbot off ice for morning skate first and, therefore, tonight's likely starter in goal for #NYR v #Jets”

MDZ just scored a goal.... and looks less porous defensively since being unscratched... Sadly.

****ing joke.

AV creates a controversy in Vancouver to come to New York and create one that doesn't even exist.

I think its a good move. This regular Monday night game against Winnipeg will be a good test for Talbot, and the entire team in front of him.

It isn't a controversy. Tortorella started Biron twice in a row once when he was hot.

You ride the hot goalie. Especially at a time when Henrik has Olympic games to play and hasn't been at his best.

You guys don't think Hank takes it as a slight that Talbot starts back-to-back games when the Rangers don't play again 'til Thursday? Dude's a workhorse. He wants to play. I get that it's an Olympic year, but starting Talbot tonight ISN'T because of that. It's because right now, AV likes Talbot better. That says controversy to me.

Whatever. This I'm sure is another argument on HF that I'll lose.

I think it's a good thing, especially with Sochi right around the corner.
Any extra rest that he can get now will benifit him down the stretch. Especially if we have to squeak into the playoffs again and he's starting every game.

He should like Talbot better as Talbot has been the better goalie for him.
