Does Eddie speak Finnish and Swedish? Either way, if I heard the interviews in either, I'd not be able to tell if he was stuttering or it was just the language. I've always assumed that the "stutters" were him trying to come up with the right word in English and not a true stutter that a native speaker of English might have.

I have no facts, but there is no reason to assume that the Swedish boy with Swedish name and parents would speak Finnish. Obviously the whole Finnish thing seems to have been brought into it by mistake by Rob.

In the vid I posted he seems to keep little pauses mid-sentence every now and then but I assume that's for collecting his thoughts. In English he would do that plus finding the English word occasionally.

i make fun of tarheel's age all the time even tho i am p sure he is only like 2-3 years old than me (i turn 34 a week from today)

Yeah, like every year. We always play down to the opposition against these lowly teams. It's sort of like our trademark.

Then we will post yuuuuuuuge wins against the top teams down the stretch and impress everyone and it's too little too late.

When we play decent against awful teams like in 2009 then the big amazing overtime win against Pittsburgh actually gets us something (a playoff berth).

Remember that game? It was awesome and led to a long playoff run. But if we had lost several games against bottom-feeders in January then the huge win over the Pens at the end of the 2009 season would have meant nothing.
