Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Lets just skip the first period all together. I can't remember the last time we had a decent start to the damn game.
We also look clueless in the offensive zone, how many times do you see teams make a break out pass to the slot against this team, this team never has a guy in the slot.

I have said "can't get any worse than this" multiple times this season. This team continues to prove me wrong.
A single positive thing I'd like to say, I think they tried to pressure the Canes defensemen more, when they're in our zone. The negative thing? They've been in our zone for what felt like 10 to 12 minutes. Terribad.

I can't believe what a bad period that was for our boys, especially knowing that they're all very down in the dumps due to recent results. Outside of Hagelin's chance and maybe 30 seconds on that PP, it was all Carolina.
They really need a goal, maybe two or three in very short period of time. They need a confidence and morale booster. You can tell they're all down on themselves, which is the worst way to be when you're trying to win. It's easier said than done.
Let's hope they come out here flying!

Its fairly obvious to me that the players(the talented ones) want to play some sort of puck possession game.
The love to pass and do long connecting laterals. But that isn't the system that has been put in place. Possession teams need a lot of practice in the offensive zone. Its kinda too late in the season at this point imo...
However, if they are going to bring in a new coach and write the season off:
I'm not against it..
