Disagree. Dubinsky, Anisimov, Mitchell, and Fedotenko weren't exactly blazers. Nash is faster than all of those players.

We have decent speed. Callahan, Nash, Gaborik, Hagelin, Halpern and Powe can all skate fairly fast. Kreider can, too. So that option is there.

How many players out of those that you listed can go from their zone to the offensive zone with the puck on their stick? Speed isn't all about straightaway speed. These guys don't think as fast at Dubi, Prust, Mitchell did.

Why can't we get 1 solid shot off in a period? No offensive awareness.
