We got MUCH slower during the off-season and that's exactly the problem we are seeing on the ice.

Disagree. Dubinsky, Anisimov, Mitchell, and Fedotenko weren't exactly blazers. Nash is faster than all of those players.

We have decent speed. Callahan, Nash, Gaborik, Hagelin, Halpern and Powe can all skate fairly fast. Kreider can, too. So that option is there.
