I'm a nightowl and a drunk and a sucker for Alberta local broadcast commercials, so I've become a Flames connosieur over the last few years. Look at their roster and then watch them play. Even when they've had a worse record, that grinders/babies/spare parts lineup puts out a more entertaining product night in and night out than our assortment of All-Star forwards, coveted young defensemen, and otherwise unemployable slugs.

Flyers set up plenty of high probability chances, they just kept missing the net.

Sanheim finally finished in the 3rd period the chances he's screwed up since he came up. Hopefully, this will get the monkey off his back.

It's obvious Wilson is running the defense, and probably the defensive shifts - he's very hands on. But right now he probably wants to play everyone and see them in action, same way Fletcher may want to see all the veterans play the next few weeks and see who he wants to keep.

I'd just relax and wait until January, right now everything is in evaluation phase.
