I actually like the physicality Eminger brings. Hamerlik is a better positional D man. I wish our other D would play as physical. Though I have to give it up for Strahlman who's been surprisingly tough!

I think that's definitely possible. It wasn't long ago that Torts was playing Eminger ahead of Stralman, but that's seems ridiculous now.

Yeah Strals turned into a solid top 4 dman, when Staal comes back MDZ goes back to 5, which takes some pressure off him...

Ham wasn't in good enough shape when he got here. He and Torts both said this. I'd like to think that he'll get more minutes when he gets up to par with his conditioning. We shall see.

Hamrlik w Gilly makes sense . I know Gilly took that tripping call only because of the extended shift caused by Emingers brutal giveaways . Harm can stay at home and is strong and as soft as Gilly is hecan move the puck

It's funny how people give Girardi a pass for his awful turnovers and generally stupid play in the defensive zone that keep the team hemmed in for extended shifts countless times. He'll block a couple shots or make a couple hits and somehow everyone is oblivious to the rest of his play. Not saying Eminger wasn't at fault, but people seem to be very blind as to how bad Girardi is most nights.
