these msg 150's always get me depressed, not because of bill pidto's creepiness, but seeing all the different ways other teams score (good and bad teams) that we'll never see the rangers score. the lack of creativity, passing and shooting skills, and overall offensive know how is ****ing disturbing.

People talk about how Torts deserves a full season based on last season's ECF. What if I told you that the ECF appearance was with a different team that fits Tort's game and this team doesn't. Coaches aren't all purpose. A coach is no different than a player. Some fits its counterpart better than others. What if I told you that last season was an overachieving season where our bottom 6 guys really anchored us and we won a lot of close games thanks largely to our goaltender's .930 1.96GAA season? What if I told you Torts is not that great of a coach? BB went from Washington to the Ducks and had success. KH went to STL where the lineup suits his game.

This is a team JT created and he did great work for years but it's really time to move onto a system that ****ing wins championship. 5 of 6 teams in the last 3 SCF: Flyers, Canucks, Hawks, Bruins, Kings: high goal scoring teams + stellar goaltending from Quick and Thomas. We rolled on Henrik but we need defense. Without Henrik, we would have lost 1st round.

agreed. people who say we are a similar team to boston must not watch them much. they have crisp passing and just do everything right. the only thing we have in common with them is that we are defense-minded. their offensive zone play is light years better than ours.

Someone mentioned earlier that last years team was an actual team and this year it's just a mish mash of random player swapping that can't seem to click, or something to that effect. I couldn't agree more.

Winnipeg's 2nd goal was pretty lucky. I wish the Rangers could fine some luck. All season we just cannot score. How many times have the Rangers missed the night tonight?

I think it's more of the fact that this team had terrible shooting accuracy. Its something they obviously do not try to make better.

The hopes and dreams, living and dying with the team, and general shock and lack of understanding about the Rangers various ineptitudes I read about on here really bring a tear to my eye. It reminds me of being young like most of you and not having come to terms with the fact that the Rangers are doomed to perennially wallow in mediocrity. Trust me young lads, things get a lot easier once you come to terms with that and learn to curb your expectations.

This post bums me out. :(

I think the main reason this is still an issue at this point of the season is the constant line juggling of the top 2 lines. The 3rd line has been our most cohesive line tonight because they have been playing together for a while.

Hagelin / Stepan / Nash should not have been broken up.

I think it's funny hearing the same analysis of the opposing goalie every game: "______ is having a good game"

Uhhh no, our offense is just horrendous.

I don't think there's anything on these entire boards that I agree with more. So much frustration watching Richards keep up with Hags and Nash.

Torts will go before Lundqvist. Why the **** should our best player leave instead of our ineffective coach?

you don't have to be young or old to realize this team will most likely always be like this....look at the rangers records over the past 40 years....they managed to get to the cup finals 3 times....72...79...1994....that team HAD to win in 1994 otherwise the 1940 chants would still be here....Neil Smith traded away amonte, gartner just to go for it that year in 94...thank god it worked....but 1994 is 20 years ago...its time to win another
