Even if Gaborik would play better than Nash for the rest of the season, most people would still want to see that guy gone. It is very simple.

Believe what you want to. I don't buy that at all, but I'm sure some of the fans are that fickle. I think if Gaborik turned it on for the rest of the season and Nash stunk it up, Gaborik would go right back to being a fan favorite and people would be lamenting how bad a decision the Nash trade was again and I think you're fooling yourself if you don't believe that. Regardless, I don't actually care. The reason people are riding Richards and Gabby RIGHT NOW and not Nash IS pretty simple.

Rangers are 8th in the East with less than half a season left. Hes going no where.

Torts' offensively challenged coaching doesn't win cups. we grinded 3 series last year and we had a great bottom 6. We made it to the ECF but not dominantly at all. Hawks , Bruins, Kings all had offense. Canucks, Flyers had offense.

Whatever. We're down by 1. I'm tired of my seat on the emotional roller coaster. I'm going to get off for a few games and just watch instead. I'm not going to get all worked up about these games. I get your point. Gaborik is showing some grit in this game and is doing things people are saying he wasn't doing in the past, I have no idea why people would be riding on him RIGHT NOW. Richards is a different story.
