It doesn't make sense to me why people are complaining about ZAR tonight, but he hasn't been a problem tonight. Or most nights when people are complaining about him.

He just can’t make a play with the puck. And he glides to loose pucks and gets beaten to it.

He’s like a millisecond behind everything.

He’s not the reason we’re losing but he’s not helping.

He doesn't have good puck skills (although I think Hornqvist is an unfair comparison for him, because I think his puck skills are underrated), but he'll be an effective grinder for you when playing with talented players. That's what I've seen from him this year, but everyone complains about him at every chance they can get here.

well he also doesn't really win that many battles. He needs to either get stronger or a step faster imo.

What I hate the most about ZAR is that the coach can use every excuse to play him because he's "almost good". If you cannot execute at the NHL level, almost good means nothing.
