Offensively, we need to more aggressively take the puck to the net. Everyone should be looking to set up chances for themselves instead of hoping for something to just open up for them. Let those things open up instead of hoping for them to. That goes double for the powerplay. Defensively, we need to be more aggressive on the puck carrier and not just collapse to the centre of the ice. Clearly we're not getting anywhere ever though we're playing a passive defensive system. We need to force them to make fast plays and put more pressure up high so there's at least a CHANCE of us getting oddman rushes that aren't fluky bounces.

?? I’m legitimately confused at those that think Simon has been bad tonight. I thought he’s had a very good game on the whole.

I missed the 1st but saw nothing good in the 2nd. Stupid penalty and two quality scoring chances and nothing.

See how Pearson shoots for corners and forces goalies to make saves? How come so many of his teammates are incapable of this feat?

He hasn't been on this team long enough to learn whatever bad habits our coaching staff gives the rest of the players on the roster. It's why Riikola plays the way he does too.

Good lord, Dan Potash is the worst.

I think Potash is incredible and works his ass off. My big issue is that a hockey game is going on and he expects them to be laid back. These are pros who have to be focused. That's my biggest issue.

I've never seen a guy as bad at in between period interviews then him. He thinks he is part of the show, part comedian. Part hype man. Ask the questions, let them answer, and stop being an idiot. And I don't think he has any great hockey insight or knowledge.

But that's just me.

Yeah his interview questions are kinda brutal. So while he works hard and seems like a good guy, he is still stuck in Duper mode.
